The Lemon Detox Diet Is Popular, But There Are Many More

There are many types of detox diets to cleanse your body, but in order to get an idea of which one is best for you; you will want to take a look at some of your options. Below you will see a few diets and the points that are made about them.

With any body detox diet plan you are thinking of undertaking, please consult your doctor first. They are usually quite severe and can make many people feel quite ill.

Most people are more concerned about finding out about detox diets and weight loss, although the main reason for this cleansing, is for you to cleanse your body from the inside out. A colon cleanse, certainly is a great start to feeling full of vitality and not sluggish.

So what are some of the diets and detox recipes available?

  • Master Cleanse Detox Diet

This detox diet plan is a combination of cayenne pepper, lemon juice and maple syrup that is mixed with water. Of all the detox diets this has been made popular by many celebrities. The maple syrup is easily absorbed and helps to release toxins. The Master Cleanse Diet has been used extensively for weight loss.

  • Liquid Detox Diet

There is another type of Liquid Detox Diet that you may prefer to use; it consists of fruit and vegetable juice. All of the enzymes, minerals and vitamins you consume with this diet are known to support the rejuvenating process of the body. The best part of this diet is that your body can assimilate the juices you drink without having to produce digestive enzymes. A popular liquid detox is the lemon detox diet.

  • Mono Fruit Detox Diet

This diet involves eating only one type of fruit. Unlike most detox diets this diet is often done for quite a while. Fruit supplies the body with organic water and the organic water allows the body to cleanse itself of all the toxins. Once you begin this diet your body will begin to remove the harmful toxins. Along with ridding the body of harmful toxins, the Mono Fruit Detox Diet has another benefit. It keeps your pH levels stable.

  • Raw Food Detox Diet

The idea of this diet is to eat raw foods to prevent the loss of vitamins, minerals and other essentials that are lost while cooking or washing the food. When you begin eating raw food your body will develop enzymes that strengthen your metabolism and immune system. This diet also stabilizes the potassium-to-sodium ratios that also optimize cell function and the pH balance, which is the overall goal of a detox diet.

  • Hallelujah Detox Diet

A lot of people can’t eat three raw food meals a day, but there is an alternative. If you still want to do the raw food diet, but don’t think you can eat three raw food meals a day there is a diet called the Hallelujah diet. This diet will allow you to be on the raw food diet, but it will also allow you to eat normal cooked food at the same time. The idea is that you eat about 85% raw foods and about 15% cooked foods. The best time to eat the cooked food is during dinner. In order to go on this diet you will need to skip breakfast, and drink fruit juices instead. If you eat breakfast on a daily basis it will take some time to get used to skipping breakfast. It may also help to replace your bacon and eggs with almond milk, a fresh fruit salad and whole wheat or sprouted grain toast with almond butter.

  • Diuretic Diet

This diet does not help you lose body fat but it will help release the excess fluid your body is holding. This diet contains herbs and vegetables like asparagus, artichoke, celery seed, dandelion, juniper berries, melon, parsley and watercress. You can also find these herbs or vegetables in many foods and even in drinks such as coffee and tea.

So, now that you have read about a few different types of detox diets, take your time and do some thorough research before you choose any particular one. Plus, as I said earlier, consult a doctor first!

Ph is a scale to determine alkalinity and acidity. Fluids in human body contribute to the overall ph level which will have an effect on the cells. While human body is capable to regulate its ph level, there are times it does not function appropriately, and when this happens, it affects the whole body. If you suffer from fatigue, stress, tiredness, pains or experience pains, poor digestion, aches or a balloon in weight, it might be the red light for you to check human body’s ph level to watch if it’s too acidic. Your body doesn’t turn out to be excessively acidic overnight. Accumulation of acids in human body can be because of one or more of the following; extended ingestion of acidic substances, unsuccessful cleansing of acidic from your system in addition to creating acids in your body.
