Is it a UTI or is it a yeast infection?
You can often tell because of the symptoms which accompany your condition, however with both a yeast infection and a urinary tract infection, you may experience burning when you urinate and strange smelling urine. You might also notice some redness or swelling.

In severe cases, you may find that you’re bleeding when you wipe. A severe UTI can also make you feel poorly, run a fever or, when left untreated can cause you to feel pain in the bladder or the kidneys. Do NOT treat on your own.

In many cases, a yeast infection will go away on it’s own, or you can use a few home remedies to quicken the process. However, with a UTI it is important to see your health care provider so that you can effectively and quickly treat your specific condition.

- Genital candidiasis – For yeast problems, get the balance back by eating the right foods. Yogurt contains the good bacteria that our bodies need to help fight excess yeast, so working to rebalance the body can be an effective way to ease your yeast infection symptoms.
