Rinse your mouth after every time you eat, this will help eliminate any odor.
- Chew Breath Freshening Gum – Although it’s not really a long-term solution to bad breath, chewing gum is a great temporary solution, especially for emergencies when you need to have fresh breath right away.
- Baking Soda – This is a great home remedy for bad breath. It cleans your teeth and makes your breath fresh. You can sprinkle some baking soda into your hand and dip your toothbrush into the powder. Then brush your teeth and don’t forget your tongue.
- Stop Smoking – Smoking is one of the top culprits that causes halitosis because of its tar and nicotine content. If you stop smoking, your bad breath problem will disappear and your overall health will vastly improve as you already know.
- Herbs and Vegetables – You can chew on parsley, mint or peppermint or eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Carrots, apples and celery sticks are perfect examples. The roughness of the carrots scrape of bacterial deposits on your teeth and gum line.
