A Comparison Of Rhumatol and Provailen
It is no secret that natural remedies are used for the treatment of arthritis compared to the many artificial forms of treatment. I remember when celery supplements were all the rage for soothing arthritis pain, quite a few years ago. At the time every product that was classed as a natural remedy for arthritis contained some form of celery. Today, natural options are still searched for because they are accessible, safer and usually more affordable – but this doesn’t mean that all natural treatments are equal in terms of quality and effectiveness, or in what they do.
To illustrate, let us compare two natural arthritis supplements on the market today. Provailen and Rhumatol. Of course there are many more, but this is another couple of products I have been asked to write a comparison on.
Differences In Key Ingredients
Both are natural formulations. Provailen is made up of organic natural herbs and vegetative substances. More specifically, it contains extracts from various herbs, which are all safe to consume even for young people.
Rhumatol also contains only natural ingredients, including Mannose, Galactose, Fructose, Glucose, Xylose, N-acetylneuramic acid and N-actylgalactosamine, N-acetyilglucosamine, which are carbohydrate in substance.
Although both are natural, Provailen basically contains vegetable matter while Rhumatol consists of sugars.
It is not uncommon for people with arthritis to suffer from diabetes as well. Therefore, the medication that should be used for quelling the symptoms of arthritis should not contain too much sugar.
Although Rhumatol contains sugars, the doses are small, however, it would be wise to check with your doctor if you are a diabetic and have concerns. Provailen also contains sugars and carbohydrates and they too are only found in very small amounts. Still, consultation with a doctor is advisable before using any of these medications as I said.
There has been no conclusive study stating that obesity causes arthritis but it has been consistently observed that excessive weight does enhance the pain and discomfort brought about by the condition. Provailen’s ingredients actually address this problem and weight loss is one of the additional benefits. It’s like having weight loss ingredients incorporated into the supplement. That is not it’s primary goal, but it is nice to know it may help while getting relief from joint pain, inflammation and the other symptoms of arthritis.
An Overall Remedy
Despite the weight loss benefits that can be enjoyed from Provailen, this does not mean that it can be used as a substitute to natural weight loss methods, like eating a healthy, balanced diet and exercising regularly. These methods remain to be the best way to shed those extra pounds and relieve your joints of the excess weight that is worsening your arthritis symptoms. However, Provailen can be used alongside these natural methods because it is supposed to speed up your weight loss by enhancing your metabolism, reducing your body fat and cholesterol and improving your arthritis inflammation.
Rhumatol may not be a ‘two in one’ supplement, but I have promoted this product longer than Provailen and have never heard one person complain. (I have never heard anyone complain about Provailen either.)
So choosing the best arthritis remedy for you…will depend on you. Every individual reacts differently to various treatments so it’s not surprising that some people would prefer Provailen while others would favor Rhumatol better. Talking with your doctor if you haven’t already, is a good first step, especially if you don’t know what you can and can’t take.
